The arresting agency creates the first incident or arrest report. If the person is taken to the county jail, jail staff create a separate booking entry. Neither record states the final result of a criminal case.

The sheriff provides primary law-enforcement services in unincorporated Sevier County and lists Patrol, Investigation, Court Services, Support Services, and Jail Operations divisions. De Queen also maintains a police department. That split matters: an incident report stays with the agency that wrote it, even if the person later appears in the same county jail roster as people arrested by other agencies.

The point in time also controls which source is most useful. Right after an arrest, the jail and arresting agency may have information before a prosecutor has opened a court case. Call before visiting for a report copy or archived booking record because no local copy-fee schedule or dedicated records-request form was found. How to Look Up Sevier County Arrests

No single search returns every Sevier County arrest record. Use the channel that matches the event and then trace it forward. A name, approximate arrest date, arresting agency, and incident or booking number can help staff distinguish the right record.

4. For an official Arkansas criminal-history record, use the consent-based Arkansas Online Criminal Background Check System. It is not an open public name browser.
5. When online sources fail, call, fax, visit, or send an Arkansas Freedom of Information Act request to the office that created the record. Court records remain subject to court-access rules.

Second Street and reports an authorized strength of 16 sworn officers, including two school resource officers and two investigators. Horatio and Lockesburg Arrest Chains

Horatio's official site lists a police department contact but no records portal. The Horatio city staff page is the confirmed local directory.

For a Horatio arrest, identify whether city police or the sheriff handled it, then use the county roster for jail intake and Search ARCourts for filed charges.

Lockesburg publishes City Hall contact information but no police-record portal in the reviewed sources. Call City Hall only for local routing. Use the sheriff for sheriff-created reports and bookings. This avoids asking a city office for a file held at 137 West Robinson Road or by a court in De Queen.

FOIA for Sevier County Arrest Reports

The Arkansas Freedom of Information Act supplies the formal fallback for public sheriff records. Direct the request to the agency that created the document and describe the incident, date range, record type, and known identifier. The sheriff accepts contact by phone, in person, fax, and published email, though urgent warrant or surrender questions should be handled by phone.

FOIA does not guarantee every detail. Active investigations, protected victim information, juvenile matters, sealed records, and other statutory exceptions can restrict release. Court filings are governed by Arkansas Supreme Court Administrative Order 19, so requests for charges, judgments, or certified case copies belong with the court rather than the sheriff.

A useful written request separates records that are often confused. Ask for an arrest report when the need concerns the officer's enforcement action.
